Getting to eat the food I want. I decided I was too tired to deal, so I'm having cereal for lunch this week and there's no one who can stop me. I have and will again have ice cream for dinner. I can buy what I want, though growing up poor means that I always wait to make sure it's something I actually want and not just an impulse otherwise I get buyers remorse something awful. I still don't feel like an adult though...probably because I sometimes have ice cream for dinner.

I was kinda bodyshamed in my youth and had a restricted diet at times . Making my own choices is so freeing
