You can like fandom however you want - the only problem comes from the kind of people that demands everyone have the exact same interest and try to accuse others of being impure/a prude id said person doesn't follow the crowd.

I've been on both sides as a shipper with some fandoms and a non-shipper in others - and it can suck when the opposite of your interests gets overwhelming fandom wise, but I hope you find a space within it with others that share the same sentiment OP \o/
