Haven't we had a few versions of this same secret/wank...?? Sorry OP, I can totally imagine that this secret is genuine. But I've seen a number of discussions on the idea of an Asian actress being cast as Snow White that have unfortunately taken a troll-ish, antiblack turn somewhere along the line, pitting Black and Asian actresses against each other, which made me wonder if you were hoping to stir up more controversy... That said, your childhood interpretation is valid, and it would be awesome to see a Chinese Snow White, as well as to see more blockbuster roles go to Asian actors.

There was exactly one secret about this which mostly had an anon with a massive chip on her shoulder calling everyone who disagreed with he a colorist racist bigot who just wants to support evil beauty standards because not a single Asian person who is pale exists, apparently.

Which is hilarious because "pale" is a relative description. You can absolutely have an Asian person who is "pale" compared to the average Asian person.
