Pride and Prejudice; Persuasion; North and South.

(The 2004 adaptation of N&S, with Daniela Denby-Ashe and Richard Armitage, has slow burn chemistry that sets the screen on fire.)

They're all novels, though they all have adaptations. I slipped that note in about the adaptation of N&S in bc it isn't as well known as the Jane Austen ones, and in case anyone else was camping out in the thread - wasn't meaning to be obtuse!
