The fish people in the One Piece live adaptation were hideous. Every single one was just...awful to look at.

the makeup job was close but not close enough, it was a valiant effort but fell short. that said, fishmen aren't really supposed to be nice-looking. I'd still bang several of them like a screen door in a hurricane but that's the monsterfucker in me. they're fishmen (-women), attractive qualities were never on the table - merfolk are the pretty ones.
