Same. As much as I love and support public libraries, they're not always the answer for everything. A lot of small town libraries lack the funds to buy something that's (let's face it) rather niche as opposed to books that a LOT of people will want to read. You can make requests, but... yeah, funding.

This is true, but this also makes the official translation like every other book in existence. You just kinda wait until you save up or wait until/if your library gets it. Or decide it's not that important to you and move on. Claiming that the translation is shit just because the free stuff gets yanked off the internet so that the fan translators don't get sued is just a dick move.

To be clear to everyone reading this, since there is SO MUCH bad reading comprehension in this thread, the "you" in the above paragraph is the general "you," not you specifically. And I can't believe I had to fucking write that.
