I am very interested in which job you couldn't wear black nail polish as a safety issue! There's lots of jobs (including mine) where you can't have long nails or false nails, but just nail polish itself on your short fingernails is only really an issue for patients in hospital AFAIK.

It's weird, but I remember not liking Practical Magic that much, but I read a Practical Magic AU for Furiosa/Max Rockatansky and really, really loved it. Maybe I'm due for a rewatch of the source material.

I feel like it's in this weird place where it does have the nostalgia factor for many people, but mostly in a niche way (like the people i remember watching it with were all girls in an alt/witch state of teenagery), so there's simply not enough millenials and gen-xers now for it to be as popular as other stuff.

I didn't end up liking that movie very much, even though I quite like Sandra Bullock and Aidan Quinn. But I'm not sure what potential you're talking about? Like, f/f incest? Necrophilia or possession sex? There are honestly not a whole lot of one-off movies (even ones based on books) that have big fandoms.

FWIW, it sounds like she can do relatively short parts but obviously she can't see to read her lines and she can't see the set. That's sad, but hopefully she can find a workaround?

Man this is why I am so hesitant to pick up 'corporate' translated danmei novels, I've heard so many complaints about the translation quality.

I recently watched Heaven's Official Blessing and wanted to read it but am scared lol.

Just saw that Guardian got an official publish too and am scared to buy that as well.

Dreams

Anyone have any notable dreams? I have had so many weird ones lately. I dreamed that I was stuck in high school, which isn't unusual, but the dream had me wake up and go back to sleep multiple times within the dream, and I thought four days had passed. That sucked. I dreamed that a fictional character snuck into my room at night and left me a balloon saying "you are loved". That was nice. I dreamed that my nonexistent roommate pranked me by making me think my bed was made of French fries. That was bizarre. I dreamed that Among Us impostors did 9/11. That, uh. Yeah. And all of this was just within the past week.
