Turns out Ashton's nonprofit get their stats of "saving children from sex trafficking" by labeling consenting adult sex workers as said children, even when said sex workers don't want to be "saved" by said program ("anti-sex trafficking" industry is gross puritan BS too, but it's getting a bit off topic)

Source? All I can find is that the organization rescued fewer trafficked victims than it identified, not that the people identified were regular sex workers.
