I find it weird that you think people who "froth at the mouth" about pedophiles is a left/right thing. Do you think that people on the right are for therapy for pedophiles?

da but I think the point they're making is that many pedophiles (literally just "people who are attracted to children") never actually molest children. There's a difference between a pedophile, who may be attracted to children but never act on that, and a child molester, who often ISN'T a pedophile but rather someone who is doing it because it's a power thing.

I didn't have an issue with that. I just find the framing that this is some kind stance held by the politically left to be bizarre.
