Same anon as above, I don't mean to say that individual families like those you know are bad, many adoptees have happy stories and a good experience with adoption, but I would recommend looking into it more for yourself and seeing what many other adoptees have said about their negative experiences. It's a really complicated issue and unfortunately a lot of people's stories are not as simple as "bio parents sucked, adoptive parents were cool."
