Chris Pratt abandoned his wife and children to marry someone else, and then proceeded to ignore the existence of his previous family on social media. All while claiming to be super Christian. His ex wife is also very well liked both as a well established actress and as a person, so people were upset on her behalf. That's the difference mainly?

Er... Pretty sure Anna Faris also began dating someone before the divorce was finalized and she married the guy. Not as fast as Pratt got remarried, but we're talking four years (from filing) vs. Pratt's two years. I'm surprised she stuck with him for that long, tbh.

I'm pretty sure it was people realizing he was actually a preachy born-again hypocrite type instead of the heart-in-the-right-place himbo persona he got from Parks and Rec that made people turn on him. And the fact he's a very wooden actor and keeps mediocre-acting his way through childhood favorites cemented his "crisp rat" status.
