benny? his reaction was mixed but the people who hated him was comparatively few and the benny/dean fics were grew pretty rapidly.

I mean there's definitely a *segment* of the fandom that was feral against Cas. And of course Metatron, but at least he was a bad guy.

i don't think that was a fandom-overall thing imo. like you would absolutely have sam-fans or "bibro" lmao fans who were like "all these characters are my favorite" and then be like "i don't care for cas", but that wasn't rampant at all from what i remember.

people were feral? against metatron? that's actually quite funny.
