When you say Cal Arts style, do you mean the Sword in the Stone Cal Arts style, the 101 Dalmatians Cal Arts style, the Iron Giant Cal Arts style, or the Don Bluth Cal Arts style? The term was coined by child groomer and overall terrible person John Kricfalusi, by the way.

But you know who DOESN'T follow the Cal Arts style? Rebecca Sugar, strangely enough! At least that's what the guy who coined the term said: https://twitter.com/johnktakes/status/1594424574728613888/photo/4

Man, I love when reactionaries use random phrases to prop up their culture war nonsense.

Don’t forget about the 90s adult animation boom Calarts Style.

Jim Readon, Rich Moore, Wes Archer…all Calarts

In that group alone we’ve got the Simpsons, Futurama, King of the Hill, Wall-E, Bob’s Burgers, Rick & Morty, Disenchantment, Wreck-It Ralph, Zootopia, The Critic, Tiny Toon Adventures, Mighty Mouse…

The list goes on.
