Fanart(/fanworks in general) website recs?

(Anonymous) 2023-09-21 04:18 pm (UTC)(link)
Not a show, but a website rec. If it's ok.

Does anyone know a good platform for fan/works sharing? For me personally Tumblr was perfect (searchable tags, popular enough, multiple post formats, customizable portfolio layout, free customizable domain and so on) until the porn ban happened, since then I went from making 10 fanart pieces a year to maybe 2 in a good year because I don't have anywhere to share them and it bugs me loads. I'm probably just going back to Tumblr even though it's less than ideal now (less popular, layouts ruined, no free domains) but it's still better than the other options. Twitter and Instagram suck for portfolio building. AI ruined Artstation. Deviantart uses your work to feed AI softwares so no. Pixiv is anime drawings-only. Honestly I'm this close to making a new Tumblr portfolio. The alternative is, well, Dreamwidth.

So, the question. Where do you browse fanarts, if you like them? If you share them, where?
