Weekend Plans

What is everyone doing?

I am going up be spending the weekend with my sister and some friends. We will be grilling, playing board games, and watching scary movies.

I'm honestly struggling to do anything. I'm on vacation (a staycation and since my job involves so much driving, this is a blessing lmao) but I've gotten some pretty upsetting family news from two different directions. I was also intensely sick overnight. So I've just kinda of been *squints* at everything.

Oh, but I've started writing fic again! That's something new, haha. I got inspired by going to a website I lived on from the years 2000-2006 or so.

Sleep. Just sleep. I'm still recovering from strep. Honestly my throat is still killing me in spite of being on the antibiotic for 4 days, and I may call my doctor on monday. I'm exhausted.

I've got some music I want to go through and decide if I want it on my Ipod, if I have the energy.

It'll be raining all weekend so I'll be laying down towels to catch all the water that leaks from the wall over my front door INSIDE my house. :/
In between doing that, I'll be reading the graphic novel Understanding the Crash by Seth Tobocman and Miss Peregrine's Home For Peculiar Children by Ransom Riggs.

I should meet up with my visiting British cousins but organizational skills are not exactly our forte. Failing that, there's a short movie festival I'd like to go watch.
