I'm interested in hearing what's your current gaming situation!
Are you playing something new? Something familiar? Are you interested in starting a new game, but you're too busy? And what about mobile games? etc etc

Currently neck deep in Baulder's Gate 3 and struggling to pick who I want to romance for my first playthrough, there are so many choices I like!

I'm so jealous! I'd like to play it, but my PC is too old. I'll have to wait a couple of years I think :(((

I've narrowed it down to three at this point, but I'm still having a hard time choosing xD they're all so much fun.

I feel your pain/fomo. My PC is too old and it's not ever coming to xbox one as far as I can tell. This may be the game that makes me switch teams to Playstation! (...at some point when I have money.)

Same. I created a new character in the middle of my playthrough for the explicit purpose of romancing Shadowheart with her later, so I can stop agonizing about not romancing her in my current playthrough. Still don't know who I'm going to go with though lmao.

Today I started Paranormasight: The Seven Mysteries of Honjo.
I'm really really enjoying it so far. It's a visual novel with a couple of very interesting twists and an intriguing horror mystery. I can't wait to see where the story goes...

I'm also playing a hack mod of Fire Emblem, called Seven Sisters and I'm ???? I'm enjoying the maps and some characters, but I honestly have no idea what the story is all about. It's a well made hack, but I don't know... I'm not totally sold yet. I think I will continue to play just for the maps, mostly.

I mostly play Overwatch. Maybe Fortnite (no build!) if they have a season with good skins. Which they have not for the past three or so. I also recently beat Signalis (which was fantastic) and am currently trying to beat Breath of the Wild. As for mobile, I mostly play Marvel Snap, Pokemon Go, Monument, and Bloons.

for new mobile games, I've been playing Final Fantasy VII: Ever Crisis and not only is it goddamn adorable, it's a ton of fun, so I've lost a lot of hours to it.

(but oh my god they're all so cuuuuute)

Just finished my first ever playthrough of Inquisition and immediately made two new characters, one to romance Cassandra and one to fuck around with whoever will jump at a female qunari. (First playthrough was female elf and I romanced the heck out of Josephine.) At some point I'll make another character and choose Templar just to see that play out but I'm not there yet.

Also debating if going backwards and playing the previous games will add to my enjoyment of the world or just be disappointing.

Hm, Dragon Age is my favorite video game series so my first inclination is to say "YES, go back and play them!"
But Dragon Age Origin's play style is very different from the other two. I'd at least suggest DA2 if you like character focused stories.

I am very much a character focused player rather than a tactics type of player. But I just discovered that I already own all the DLCs for DAI, they just were not installed for some reason so now I have more to do and more time before I have to make a choice about the other games lol

Mainly the new Genshin Impact update and Baldur's Gate 3. Not really in a GI mood these days so I just do dailies and a short farming session for building Neuvillette. In BG I am unapologetically save scumming because either the RNG is just bad and unbalanced or I'm just ridiculously unlucky (or both) and shit got really frustrating at a point. I kinda also blame the controls on PS5 for a lot of the messes that happen because they're kinda clunky. I know why I usually prefer to play these types of games on PC but mine is too old.

Learning about rush duels on Duel Links. I stopped watching after Vrains, so it’s totally new to me.

I've been playing Voices of the Void every time I feel like playing games. Actually, I'm playing it right now, just made a pit stop at FS because it's been hours lol.

I almost exclusively play a mobile RPG because I can do a complete run in less than ten minutes. Console games usually take at least five minutes to get loaded and can easily take up to an hour if I need updates. I just don’t have that kind of time.
I love my mobile RPG though! It’s been fun building my character and finding new gear/upgrading equipment. They have a rotation of specialty modes all week long plus all kinds of events, most of which are fun. I just skip anything I don’t like. I don’t play PVP because if you win, there’s a high probability the loser will report you as a cheater and the dev has gotten lazy about checking, it usually results in an instant ban. Though lately they’ve started doing just a one year ban but for both players if one reports for cheating. Yikes!

Downloaded the free trial of Eastward on Switch in order to earn points. May or may not continue with it. We'll see.

Will play with the Xenoblade update of Tetris 99 this weekend. I know you didn't ask for future games, but it's Mario themed stuff for October and November. And I might dig into the backlog of Steam games.

I picked up Kyoto Winds and Edo Blossoms in a Steam Sale a few months back and have only just gotten around to playing them. I didn't know much about it before I started so the supernatural elements caught me by surprise. Sanosuke's route is my favorite so far.
