Ah, so you're one of the abovementioned people who thinks FMA is the only anime/shonen written by a woman. It isn't even rare. You just don't know it because they use pseudonyms like Arakawa, but unlike Arakawa nobody hypes up their real gender (because if they did, we would be forced to admit that female shonen writers make bad female characters as often as male writers do).
