Re: What hobby do you wish you could into?

I can really relate to you with the machine sewing situation. In general, I would like to learn how to sew.

Also, playing an instrument, especially strings. I played violin when I was in 4th grade, never picked it up again but I do miss playing it. Always wanted to learn how to play the guitar solely so that I can play really cool guitar solos in songs I love whenever I want. Have wanted to learn to play the piano but never got into it.

Recently wanted to get into roller skating because I recall loving this pair of roller skates my sister had that I ended up using a lot when I was a kid (it was in the mid 1990s so everyone was into roller blading and roller skating was for lame-os so of course my ankles were too weak for roller blades but I picked up on roller skating because it was easier). I stopped roller skating because by a certain point they were too small for me. Haven't mustered up the effort to buy skates and protective gear to get this thing going.

I have always wanted to get into photography, especially traditional film photography. Seems like a time intensive hobby that also calls for money and space. One day...

Acting. I enjoyed Drama class in high school. Would there be any harm in joining a local acting class just to act because I enjoyed doing it in school? Never considered that this could simply be a hobby to do in my free time until last week. Like, I don't need to have an excuse of actually wanting to have an acting career to take up the hobby.

And a lot of other things. Like I've always wanted to draw but I'm not good at it at all.
