I'm glad she helps you. I don't think this is anything to be ashamed of or feel bad about. It's a big part of why representation matters: not just for race and gender, but body types and other things too. The more we see positive/powerful representations, the more we realize it's possible for ourselves and others.

Fiction can be very powerful. Therapy has been helpful for me, but Bojack Horseman's take on inherited trauma completely and positively changed how I view my anxiety.

Oof, I could have written this secret. Sorry you're going through this too. I'm definitely having a "hell is other people" sort of time with this fandom, and it's kind of simultaneously killing my motivation to keep making fanworks and also kind of becoming my motivation to keep making fanworks (kind of as a way to spite the larger fandom or just not let other people ruin my love for something). I don't think it's sustainable and probably going to lead me to eventual burnout.

OT but I really want a Dharma&Greg/Criminal Minds crossover where Dharma turns out to be an unsub (and Hotch was undercover during their 'marriage', trying to get evidence but never did.

She always gave me 'one step away from a serial killer' vibes, just like Phoebe from Friends.
