look i actually think making oberyn a sexy charming asshole with revenge burning in his heart is pretty difficult on the acting side to keep compelling and dynamic, and he was very good. i also think he was attractive in that role, but i think people's affinity for him in that was more than about his looks and that's carried him though on attractiveness otherwise.
