youtube adblock block

Well, I just got one of those "Ad blockers are not allowed on YouTube" messages on my laptop while trying to watch. But I'm not toggling my ad block on and off every time I want to use one website, so I guess it's just YouTube on my tablet now, where I see ads in the app and it's fine. I'm not actually annoyed by YouTube ads, but I'm annoyed by autoplay ads elsewhere on the internet, so yeah, I have adblock.

Hmm. Which adblocker are you using? I have uBlock Origin, and I'm able to watch YouTube just fine without turning it off.

Acutally I'm using the Brave browser, so I guess I don't have a separate adblock installed on this old laptop

I have adblock plus and it works just fine.

I use uBlock Origin and can watch youtube videos without a problem.

I notice I'm only occasionally getting that when on a laptop. Maybe on two videos so far. I was able to just X-out of the pop up.

I just hit the x and youtube keeps playing. I don't know which adblocker I'm using because it was installed by a friend who isn't available right now so I can't ask them. I'm supposed to see them tomorrow so I'll ask them then.
