Pretty much. I'm tired of seeing a body type I can't help (hello, bedbound disability nuking exercise options) relegating me to comic relief and fart jokes, or my disabilities being played for inspiration porn. :| Give us rounded characters instead of unexisting us.

Yeah, but so many old stories were about how such-and-such a leader was unjust and needed to be replaced by a leader who fulfilled the same role but just. Getting rid of the entire role is often a controversial take even today.

i agree it is not a coincidence that a protagonist breaking the law would be opposed by a law enforcer, but this example is beset by the "only one bad sherriff/king" trope, unfortunately OP!
