What kind of unfinished fic is haunting you? What one-shot fic did you start writing but haven't finished yet? Do you have a list of bullet points of fic ideas with a vague idea for what you want to write for something like Kinktober? Or maybe none of those apply and you have a different thing going on with your WIP?

There's a Naruto Gaara x Lee highschool AU that's somehow still getting comments on FFnet even though I've abandoned it around 2010.

Also in the middle of writing a kink fic that's ending up with more chapters than I had intended to write with much more to go :')

Well, I've already mentioned in this comm that I have two 20k word fics still unfinished, not to mention a 130k word fic I semi-abandoned years ago (have no faith I have what it takes to finish it, fear I'll just fuck up the ending like so many TV writers fuck up their finales... even though however someone else ruins their project has no bearing on mine), one already 11k word fic in progress with a likely sequel, and a bunch of ideas for a rarepair and one-shot outlines for my current OTP.

Probably won't do Kinktober but I hope to finish the current fic before the end of the year.

I finished a currently listed WIP but it was so tied up with a fandom friend that ghosted me that I'm having a really hard time wanting to post it despite there being apparently 7 ppl subscribed to it. I want to give an ending to the thing online for those people but it also feels wrong to do it without having ghost!fandom friend not read the last two chapters first. What should I do?

If your friend has ghosted you for a long time, I'd say go for it and post it.

A Asimov wip that I started before the pandemic. Since then I've had three operations and have had to look after my aged mother while being ghosted by my family for not doing more for her. I have no energy for writing (or for anything else) much though I'd love to finish the story. It's a pity: writing is what I used to use as an anti-depressant, and now I haven't even got that.

I started writing a Prowl/Trailbreaker feeder/inflation fanfic back in 2016 as a companion piece to another feeder/inflation fic I wrote for the Transformers Kink Meme- and I recently rediscovered it when I was clearing out my old desktop. It's only four pages in but I was shocked to see the quality of my writing from so many years ago. It was surprisingly GOOD and now I can see why I'm still getting kudoses and comments on the first fic, even with the bizarre kink (well, bizarre in relation to fucking Transformers). So even though I haven't been in the TF fandom for YEARS, I want to finish writing this fic.
