I don't assume they do nothing, rather that if their specific goal is to help trans rights in some way, this is far less effective than other ways of using the cash. This doesn't actually prevent anyone from reading JKR and doesn't oppose TERFs in any meaningful way. If the goal is indeed only catharsis, it's certainly their right to use some of their own money for this specific purpose, though I still find it odd.

AYRT Yeah I agree that is not a way to help any trans person. I am just sort of tired that we see the worst in people
