I'm not sick of superhero content itself. I'm sick of bad superhero content and bad superhero "discourse" which have both been the rule rather than the exception lately.

-Harry Potter
-Lord of the Rings movies (the books were fine)
-Star Wars

I can't stand any of these. I like fantasy and sci-fi, but bored by all of these flagships.

I partly get you.

Marvel - burned out by now. Let it die in peace or at least give it a rest.
Harry Potter - it's a story for kids that grew out of its pants. On kids-stories premises it's okay, but it's not the bible, people. And I haven't even started on the author-piece-of-shit.
LotR - the books bored me to death, the movie trilogy made the story better. I'm not even touching the Hobbit, in any form.
Star Wars - it's just so incredibly boring! I don't care about a single character there. Well, except Chewbacca.
