I wish G1 Lagoona wasn't such a bland character, because her design is one of my favorites as far as the dolls themselves go. Mattel really wasted her potential.

I do NOT love her new design, she's not even blue! I don't know what they're doing with her character now but I miss her design, she was so cute before.

I actually like the new design, though I prefer the old one because I really like that shade of blue. Unfortunately I've heard that some people have had issues with the paint on their G3 dolls scratching off easily, with Lagoona and Frankie in particular, which is a bummer. I do not have any G3 dolls yet so I can't comment on their overall quality. Lagoona's new character is cute in the G3 movies but she didn't have much screentime, I hope she has more in the cartoon (haven't seen yet) and that she gets more attention than in G1 instead of being sidelined again. I feel like there's a lot of fun things that could be done with her character and monster type!
