Definitely like the characters better in the live action. I know they made some small changes to their personalities and it’s made them all so endearing to me. I couldn’t stand Luffy in the anime, but he’s my favorite in the live action. I also wasn’t a fan of the art style, so that may have been another reason I found it so difficult to get into the anime/manga. I’m happy the live action did so well to get another season ‘cause now I’m excited for Chopper.

I totally get that, Luffy is adorable in the live action. They all are, in their different ways. I really love how the characters turned out in the show.

I both look forward and dread Chopper, ngl. I trust that the show will pull it off because they pulled off all the tricky things in season one, but I see some of the "solutions" to Chopper proposed online and I just DNW. I'm so glad the fandom at large isn't in charge of the show!
