Honest question

Do most people find all couples they like "sexy"? Like, I have ships that I just think are really cute and love together, and then I have ships I like to read all the porn about, but I honestly don't think I would ever describe any of the ships I like as sexy.

As for Nettle & Bone I liked the pairing, but liked that the romantic relationship wasn't really the focus. I would have preferred no romance at all, but have to admit the end of that book left me with a big ol sappy smile on my face.

I find zero of the ships I like sexy, and have no interest in seeing/reading anything sexual about them (I just want cute/fluffy stuff) but I'm also ace so I'm probably not the best person to answer this lol.

Comment OP here and I don't think every ship I enjoy is sexy, which I was using as shorthand for "enjoys reading smut fic about them."

I think plenty of characters are good looking or attractive that I have no interest in reading smut fic about, and have plenty of ships that I just think are cute and sweet together but I'm not into reading smut fic, or often any fic at all, about, even though I like them in canon.

I like all Ursula Vernon's books and writing, and most all her characters, but it's not only her writing style and characters that remind me of Discworld and Pratchett's writing; I love Sybil and Sam Vimes together, I absolutely buy that they love each other, and I have zero interest in reading about their sex life.

I didn't pick the image for the secret (thanks, secret maker!) but I liked the romance in Nettle and Bone just fine, but I don't read Ursula Vernon's books for the romances. I don't read a whole lot of romance novels in general, though.
