Does anyone have a transcript for this? The colours in this secret do not agree with my eyes at all.

In the Netflix adaption of Persuasion, Mary Musgrove was the perfect success of what filmmakers thought they were doing with with film - her character updated in "modernized" ways, yet still 100% accurate to the spirit of the original. (21st century Mary Musgrove would think herself an empath and use it as an excuse to do nothing helpful!)

There were quite a few things about the film that I liked, actually. If only they hadn't screwed up so badly with Anne and Frederick, it could have been amazing. I genuinely enjoyed almost everything where the "updating" wasn't jarringly OOC.

s!b a lot of this film's haters get weirdly mad, if you say you liked it all

typos mine, italicized instead of underline mine as well.
