I have this idea.

It's Frodo and Gandalf sitting side by side in the wagon as it rolls into the shire.

Frodo: Tell me something of your travels, Gandalf!
Gandalf, face obscured: Cattle die, kinsmen die, but those who are remembered never die.
Frodo, face falling: ....Gandalf?
A different "wizard," face visible, one eye missing, a raven peeking around his head: GUESS AGAIN, HALFLING
