See, I love all that but can't stand humiliation. And sometimes people don't warn for that and it is my biggest squick. So I gotta be pretty selective of BDSM fic.

Same. There is only one ship where I like humiliation, otherwise I hate it. Thankfully, my main fandom does tend to warn.

I was reading a fic and it had a sudden humiliation scene with the top spitting in the other guy's mouth. The visceral disgust I felt was off the charts.

Ick. That sucks. I haven't had that happen yet. But then again, my main ships involve villains. Usually is humiliation is involved there is also going to be other, darker things. And the tags usually make that clear.

AYRT and BIG same, unless it's something REALLY specific to a character, humiliation is the biggest squick, and the WORST one is when a Dom just randomly calls their sub 'slut', and it happens SO often when it's like... jarringly out of place in the overall scene??
