Someone who's bad at writing fic should still give it their best shot and do the work themselves.

Objecting to someone using cheats to create art is not "cancel culture," and the fact that one cheats for "enjoyment" does not make it less of a cheat. You might as well say that we shouldn't call people out for plagiarism, because "it's just an enjoyment and sharing excitement."
