A whole bunch of increasingly frustrated people on Tumblr have posted that you can’t “feed” AI engines. They have a data set, and they don’t add to that data set.

No need to feel bad, IMHO. Choosing to delete even their legitimate fic was their own choice, and frankly, upon discovering they used AI for other "works", I'd start questioning the legitimacy of those fics too.

OP, you're toxic. Same as someone unable to make fanart uses filters on screencaps, photoshops badly and makes AI promts for their characters, a person who's not great an fic writing promts AI. There's no profit, it's just an enjoyement and sharing excitement.

I'm appalled at all the supporting comments here. Didn't know that fs is pro cancelling and calling out culture. Though with all the crazy opinions on some topics I shouldn't be surprised.

There's been two ways to dealing with people trying to flood fandom with AI crap, and its either this or out-right ignoring them.

Like fandom is suppose to be an expression of enjoyment for the thing you're into no matter your skill level. Someone's inexperienced shitty fanart is still worth so much more than some soulless regurgitation.

My understanding is that he's childfree due to his wife, so it's more about him being a really supportive husband than anything else. He probably would have had them if he'd married someone who wanted them.

For once, I don't think this is a problem specifically aimed at female artists, so much as artists who favour pop as a genre. Male artists, even those with real musical experience and education, get lumped into the 'talentless pretty boy pop icon' category just as surely as the so-called 'air-headed pop princesses'.

Sure, if you are privileged enough that politics never really affect you then that is possible. I guess. Not everyone is lucky enough to not be affected by shitty politics, some of us have no choice but to push back and "bring politics into it" by pointing out the shitty politics and implications that do have real world effects.

Everything is politics, especially art and critical spaces.

... but you wouldn't mind if someone else made them for you! As always, including the fandom and full character names is a big help, and while I'm definitely not the world's greatest expert at secret design, I'll try my best.

Just to clarify - it's my intention to make all the secrets left in this thread, so even if they're not marked claimed, they will be made. I'll monitor this thread until tomorrow's secret post goes up, so feel free to leave your comments until then!
