What if the post has both politics and fandom in it? Should they *not* tag the fandom of the fandom stuff that's in it? Just so OP doesn't have to use their scroll button?

AYRT

I think the solution in that case would be to use a politics tag in addition to the fandom tag. That way, those who don't want the politics would still have a means of filtering out those particular posts.

Who says they're not doing that, though?

OP, I presume.

Who says OP doesn't scroll on? Doesn't mean they can't think it's annoying.

Or just have a separate blog for that? I don't see how that's even remotely controversial. I'm 99% percent in JP fandom these days and almost everyone there has a fandom blog (where they only post about fandom-related stuff) and a separate personal blog where they talk about non-fandom-related things.

Right? I have to assume that the people ITT all up in arms about this secret are people who just obsess over soapboxing their very important and completely correct opinions endlessly in their fanwork, no matter that they have nothing to do with it.
They're the types to write untagged surprise!trans fic to "educate" people, trans people who get their dysphoria triggered be damned.
