Why is it entitled to think that fandom tags should have fandom things in it?

If I start posting Bridgerton stuff in the Star Wars tag, would Star Wars fans be "entitled" for finding me annoying?

That's not what the secret is saying. If it were, they would be complaining about mislabeled tags. The secret says they want to keep politics out of fandom spaces, which, you know, good luck with that. Politics effects fandom, and fandom effects politics. We will never be free of it, so just block and move on.

"Keep politics out of fandom" is such a useless phrase too. Because 100% what people who use this phrase mean by "politics" is "what I personally consider capital-P Political" and nobody knows wtf that means. Gay people are Political. Trans people are Political. Anyone non-white could be Political. None of them get to choose wheher they're Political or not, even if they don't want to be. I'm not going to strawman OP and say that's what they mean - I genuinely assume that is not what they mean since fandom in general leans liberal - but people who blindly say this assume everyone's politics is their politics and are fine with "keep politics out of fandom" until one time they mention their same-sex partner or the OTx polycule they ship and someone's like "hey, that's Politics! Keep that out of fandom!"

"Keep politics out of fandom"ers are tacitly declaring they and only they get to decide what is Political and tbh that's cringe

However.
