It’s an older movie but I finally watched This is England recently and it’s really stuck with me. Certain scenes or lines just kinda pop into my consciousness when I’m doing other things. I’m about ten years younger than the MC and although I was born in England, I lived in America from 81-90 and never had the firsthand experience of what was going on in England then, but saw the effects in my classmates my last few years of school.
