I miss Loki as a villain. I'm just not interested in him as a hero. A complicated villain who is a trickster and switches sides at the drop of a hat, sure. But now they not only have made him a hero but are pretending he was never truly a villain at all. It is just so boring.

Ugh. I hate when stories get amnesia about someone's evil deeds; it's just bad writing. If your story can't work unless you retcon (especially something big), then it probably sucks, or your writers do.

Same here. I think he's way more interesting as a villain, and really, really didn't want him to be redeemed. It doesn't help that that was what the loudest and most obnoxious parts of his fandom wanted, either.
