... but you wouldn't mind if someone else made them for you! As always, including the fandom and full character names is a big help, and while I'm definitely not the world's greatest expert at secret design, I'll try my best.

Just to clarify - it's my intention to make all the secrets left in this thread, so even if they're not marked claimed, they will be made. I'll monitor this thread until tomorrow's secret post goes up, so feel free to leave your comments until then!

Getting tired of "X celeb for President!" comments from the general stupid internet. Maybe some are just joking, and maybe once in a blue moon we strike gold. But FFS, if you're serious, stop acting like one celebrity's comment that just happens to align with your views suddenly qualifies them to run an entire country. Be more discerning than that.

Besides, even if they are politically inclined or some kind of activist, sometimes their power is better used outside of office.

(Fandom is Genhsin Impact)
I have been annoyed at Archon quests before but for the current one I just wish I could skip it entirely. I'm just so completely uninterested in everything about Furina and the less I have to see of her the better.
Her character is just so grating (and basically Fischl 2.0 whom I also hate) and the fact that she probably will get this tragic so sobstory the game wants me to pretend to care about doesn't make it any better. Nor does the fact that absolutely everyone I follow for GI content can't stop gushing about her.

I was really disappointed to find out that Our Flag Means Death is a comedy. The title made me think it was dark and dramatic. :-(

Recently watched Leverage, overall it's a really fun show, would recommend. However, before starting it, I knew the ot3 was an extremely popular ship, and one of the writers tweeted that it was canon. I wasn't even expecting that to actually be true but I assumed it meant there would at least be enough subtext to be noticeable to someone who isn't actively looking for it. I was disappointed and I don't wanna be that guy who calls queerbaiting because their ship didn't happen but like. I watched this in part because someone working on the show lied about there being a queer relationship so I think I'm justified.
(I still ship it but like. Fellow poly shippers, we deserve better. Go watch Sense8.)

"Go watch Sense8" I don't watch either but dear lord am I sick of fans who think one series can be swapped for another because of some element it does better but is not the main reason for its appeal. I want the types of relationships I like in series that I already like because I'm invested in the story and characters, not in some random new thing I know nothing about that someone told me to try because it has the type of realtionship I want.

Yeah, my part of the internet was angry about being lied to.
As for me I don't even see their dynamic as poly even for a shipping at all. But to be fair I even don't like Leverage I just tried to get through it couple of times

After seeing it recommended several times, I finally gave A Court of Thorns and Roses a shot. The writing quality and general plot makes me miss Twilight, dear lord.

I miss Loki as a villain. I'm just not interested in him as a hero. A complicated villain who is a trickster and switches sides at the drop of a hat, sure. But now they not only have made him a hero but are pretending he was never truly a villain at all. It is just so boring.

So many famous people now are UGLY in a grody unkempt way. Wild or alternately overgroomed beards, facial tattoos, the general look of a person who doesn't wear deodorant. Every time I see someone calling some actor hot, I just can't see what they're seeing.

I’ve been a TMNT fan since day one, back in 87. 03 is my favourite series and I love all the turtles.

Most of them.

I can’t stand Rise Leonardo. Not only is he fandom darling but Ben Schwartz has absolutely no character range and he sounds like every other character he’s ever voiced.

It's a good thing that there is no report button for mistagged stuff at AO3 because it'd get horribly abused by antis but gosh sometimes I really wish there were. (The mute button is my new best friend.)

It's getting depressing with fandom and social media hopping to different platforms. I enjoyed Twitter, bluesky requires an invite code, and while Tumblr can help to a certain extent, it doesn't have the same flow in information and new fics that post. And yes Tumblr may/will end up crashing soon anyways. The biggest thing I miss is just reading what a person has posted what is going in their life. Something simple like 'look at this awesome plant!' or whatever.

But my secret is that I'm a lurker, I don't post and that can honestly come across as creepy. Second secret, I fear that while I may yearn and miss for the days of LJ in the '00's, am I looking at it through rose colored glasses? Is social media just as ephemeral as it really is?

I say this while posting in FandomSecrets that has been going on for how many years now...

I hope they make season 3 of Loki. But it is Sylvie as Loki, and then she finds another variant Loki to train up, and they just do that, an endless Chain of Lokis all the way down.

I always wanted a reboot of the Hope/Crosby "Road To..." series, but Family Guy has ruined that ever happen. Fucking Family Guy, hate it so much.

I hope we never get a full canon depiction of the Battle of Wolf 359 in Star Trek. None of the "fan" recreations look good, and frankly, it always works better when it is unseen and we only get hints and peeks at it. It is better as mythology than in stark depiction.

Mad Max and The Girl From Tomorrow/Tomorrow's End both take place in the same continuity -- Nobody will ever convince me I am wrong about this (I'm not sure anybody else actually cares, to be fair)
