I know there were people who married Twilight Sparkle on the astral plane. And I think one of the original Snapewives shifted focus to Leroy Jethro Gibbs. And going a little off the path, there’ve been at least three separate cults where the leader claimed to be channeling/reincarnated from/somehow connected to Neo from The Matrix.

All I really know about it is posts by L.B. Lee and other folks in their orbit. These sorts of cults seem to show up a lot in the Dissociative Identity Disorder community, led by either dissociative people themselves or psychiatrists “treating” them.
