While I never just watch absolutely everything just for one actor, Ewan McGregor being in the cast raises the likelyhood of me being interested in a movie a tiny amount.

Cate Blanchett, Bridget Reagan, Charlize Theron, Chris Hemsworth, Chris Pine, Maggie Smith, Karl Urban, Ian McKellen, Christopher Lee, Ewan McGregor, Ian McDiarmid (not that he's been in much, but he's always amazing), and Karen Gillan.

I can't think of anyone that I'd watch anything they're in, I'm just too picky for that, but there are a few performers that I've watched in more than one thing where they were the main reason for watching. Two come immediately to mind.

Things I watched mainly because Sandra Bullock was in them:
All About Steve, such a mistake, so bad
Premonition, okay
28 Days, didn't realize the tone of it, but it wasn't bad
The Lost City, decent
The Net, not terrible
Murder by Numbers, weirdly compelling

Things I watched mainly because Dylan O'Brien was in them:
Love and Monsters, surprisingly good
The Maze Runner, okay
American Assassin, I liked it
Deepwater Horizon, harrowing but good
The First Time, cute, but awkward in its realness
The Internship, eh

I can't think of a single actor I'll watch in everything they've done; I've always hit a point where I'm not into the genre or plot of a movie, or a movie just sucks outright.

One movie that sticks out as uniquely shitty is Eragon, which had both dragons and dragonriders in a fantasy world that also contained sword wielding heroic Jeremy Irons and scenery chewing evil warlock Robert Carlyle, and I still don't know how much someone would have to pay me, or how drugged or close to unconscious I'd have to be, to finish watching it.

It's like someone made a chocolate sundae or cheesecake that looked amazing with fruit and garnishes but the chocolate was actually shit.
