Not really. My problem is more when they have the same name as one of my siblings. My first bf had the same first name as my brother and after that I decided that it was a dealbreaker going forward lol. We're still on good terms as friends though.

Ooh I was gonna say "no that sounds dumb and really shallow" to the original question but actually yeah I think someone having the same name as any of my close family members would definitely be a turn-off.

I was constantly having to me like "[name] from website" and "[name], my brother" with people lol.

Funny thing is it was after we broke it off that me and my brother had an awkward encounter with someone who thought we were dating.... and THEN said "oh yeah you look like twins" and UGHH it was so uncomfortable . Never met someone who just kept chewing that foot so hard. We never did go to that Cici's again. XD Eughhhh

Oh yeah, my sibling's name and my parents' names are completely off-limits.

I do know someone who who married a woman with his sister's name, and a pair od brothers who married women with the same name. I do not understand.

I casually dated a dude who had the same name as my dad (which isn't even that common a name for either generation), and it was SO WEIRD.
