DA I actually got the depression vibe, too. I may be projecting, because I’ve felt exactly as this secret describes and it was depression in my case. There wasn’t much in my life outside of fandom at the time so it seemed at first that changes in trends in media was the reason.

I could possibly buy that if it weren't for the "I was sure these people had better taste, but apparently not." That just makes them sound like they're a jerk.
