Judging by your post alone I don't see anything off with it? Unless you're in a field where tooting your own horn too much is frowned upon, but even still. In my own field of work it's almost encouraged to announce your achievements/projects and try to pull in as much clout as possible by thanking your collaborators as well; though in this case it might simply be a genuine shoutout to their partner for the support.

I work in med tech, albeit on the IT side. I know in IT continuing ed is so common that it's almost considered weird to announce a new degree. Some certifications are announced, but usually people just say they did it. They don't say much else in the process, at least in public posts.
