As a fellow horror person, I'm gonna throw some names out! Some of these are a little low budget and under the radar, but I think they all have at least something going for them:

They Look Like People
Caveat (this one's a bit odd)
Resolution (The Endless and Something In The Dirt are by the same directors and also really strong, but start with this one!)
The Last Will and Testament of Rosalind Leigh
The Tunnel (found footage)
Coherence (this one is in the mind-bendy thriller category)
Southbound (horror anthology, little rough round the edges but I have the biggest soft spot for this one!)

I don't know what They Look Like People is about but the title alone gives me great vibes. I also love horror anthologies so Southbound is right up my alley.

It's about as low budget as you can go but I thought it was really effective!

I grew up on watching old horror anthologies with my dad (the House That Dripped Blood, Dr Terror's House of Horrors, Asylum, etc) so I'll always give them a look even if they're a bit jank. Southbound also taps into desert horror which is one of my favourites and needs exploring more.
