I honestly don't know anymore if it is my mental state that is making fandom exhausting and me want to avoid, or if it is the actual current state of my fandoms. Maybe it is a whole lot of both.

I feel this so fucking hard.

It’s so difficult to tell what is personal changes and what is fandom changes.

I also feel like I've read all of the fic I'm actually interested in and the only kind of fic getting posted is uninteresting for me, so since (and this is definitely purely because of my mental health and not fandom) I'm not feeling up to writing anything, I can't even engage with my fandom in a lurker-reader kind of way.

I do know that most of my fandoms seem very unwelcoming to anyone who doesn't line up with the popular tastes in fic and tropes, let alone character and pairing preferences.
