It’s not even a take, just a random thought, but imagine if Rapunzel were black. Her hair wouldn’t just be long, it would be huge.

One was but I think there was also a white one who was evil and/or Gothel in disguise or something; I gave up watching partway through season 3 though so I only heard through fandom osmosis. And iirc the Black Rapunzel had braids or locks.

not necessarily, curls often change/disappear with length because of gravity, so it would likely depend on type of hair.

Yep. I have curly hair and if I let my hair get too long it just pulls the curls right out because of the weight.

I am white with straightest hair to ever straight but wouldn't she have something akin to dreads? Or just dreads?
It is a fun thought.
