It became clear that supporting Palestine was more important to the left than supporting trans rights when they started refusing to vote for politicians who support trans rights but not Palestine.

First of all, I have no idea which candidates you're talking about.

Second, there's no one singular group called "the left". The left didn't sit down and universally decide which candidates to support and not to support. Whatever happens in one specific race somewhere doesn't mean anything about "the left" all around the world.
