The nasty fans (if we're thinking of the same ones) got real mad about certain stuff in the first special. I gave up interacting with the Doctor Who fandom during Twelve's run. It was just so damn exhausting. Now I just sit in my corner of fandom, write my fic, and enjoy it on my own.

I'm so thrilled that there were things in there too piss off those fans. I love Ten and RTD. I'm glad they are back, and I'm glad the nasty fans weren't actually catered to.
