I haven't seen it in awhile but I hated that squiggley line animation that was popular for a minute.

The jellybean face, and noodle arm school, whether you want to call it Cal Arts school or whatever, is a style of animation that needs to die. Preferably in a fire.

I can usually stand a lot of animation styles no matter how ugly or gross they can get, but the one that come to mind is the Mr Pickles cartoon series - surprised myself at how much it icked me out.

Going to always have a soft spot for Betty Boop style animation with Max Fleischer, which I 100% blame on rewatching the vhs tape of her shorts so many times as a kid. Also Adventure Time - specifically the most recent Fionna and Cake series was a delight to watch, especially the character designs.

Is the animation for Fionna and Cake noticeably different from Adventure Time? I haven't seen the show, only ads so only vaguely familiar.

It is pretty similar, both are peak Cal Arts.

Its still the same - but I definitely think the quality has improved a lot (at least it seemed that way by comparison to the main series). I don't know how to explain it, but it seems to flow a lot more fluidly than before.

Like: Avatar tLA
Hate: Pixar 3D sexual dimorphism
Didn't even give a chance: the duo from the secret and the Chrystals Adventures

I was never a huge fan of 3D animated shows but Arcane is simply stellar. Probably because of the textures that make it look almost 2D but not really.
I generally like animations that are a bit trippy with their use of textures and patterns - one of the main reasons I loved Gankutsuou and Mononoke.

Probably going to get yelled at here but I don't like standard big eye little mouth anime. Sets off my uncanny valley alarm something fierce. I do like ATLA but they tone it way down and I also like Shin Chan and Aggretsuko but they don't use that style at all.
I also really hate the animation style of the Puffs commercials but that's because I've seen THAT Sandman cartoon and it scared the shit out of me.
