Yeah I couod see how fandom would fawn and give you the wrong imoression. Yet another reason I like to go into TM blind.

She definitely came off rather daft to me. I had to go look up some if her other stuff to see if she really was that dim and daft or if it was an exaggeration just for the show. I'm still not aure which it is.

I am fascinated with her accent though.

Yeah, her humor really isn’t for me. Some of her childhood stories were fascinatingly odd, but I don’t enjoy the dim persona. Still, I wasn’t surprised, since she was like that on the other panel shows I’ve seen.

But I did keep hearing about how incredibly clever and charmingly odd Sam Campbell was. I usually enjoy a lot of absurdist humor and I’m of the “right” generation… and I just didn’t get him at all.

IDK she doesn't have to be your cup of tea but this seems weird to me - IMO she's clearly playing it up for comic purposes a lot of the time so I don't buy that she's genuinely daft.

I do find her funny personally. I think her prize tasks, in particular, were consistently amazing. Not my favorite of the series (Sam was) but it was a really good series.

I liked Sue and Susan. I felt the others were a little too low energy for me, though kudos to the editors because Julian really seemed to come alive throughout the series of tasks.

I thought Julian was maybe a little low energy at times (although still a delight). I wouldn't say that about Sam or Lucy at all.

Sue and Susan were great, though.

I will say I liked everyone there. Often there will be one person who just doesnt work for me, bit like some of my other fave series I liked them all this go round.

I'm definitely one of the people who find her delightful. Her style of humour really works for me.
